The latest report of BWEA (British Wind Energy Association has stated that Wind Power is currently the fastest growing energy technology. They are aiming to have 5% of the UK’s power requirements coming from onshore wind farms, by 2010. The UK Government is looking have another 10% of the energy coming from other renewable resources, by the same date. They are investing around 1£ billion in the wind farms.
