The Plains & Eastern Clean Line will create hundreds of direct short-term jobs in Arkansas to construct the transmission lines. Arkansas is a leader in wind turbine manufacturing and is residence to factories such as LM Wind Power, Mitsubishi, and Nordex. Arkansas will most likely benefit from the addition of new manufacturing jobs built possible by the Plains & Eastern Clean Line and the new wind farms in the area.
